Some people have asked what the administrators have access to, how they make changes, etc…

In short, we have some simple tools we’ve developed to make some tasks easier. Not everything is automated, since there are many non-repetative tasks we have to perform in order to create new features… but for the stuff we do over and over, we have special tools.

Here are just a few screenshots  of some of our tools. Some users might find the process interesting… or at least it may help to demystify the process.

This is the first page we see when we visit our administrative interface. It just gives us a quick glance at how our servers are doing.

This is our Item Admin. It’s where we go to find/edit/add items. The list continues quite a bit downward, listing all of our items, letting us know what we’ve released and what we have not.

Here is a glance of what it looks like to add or edit an item. there is a lot of information to fill out for each item… it’s not all shown here, but you get the idea.

Here is our list of stories… each story has an audio postcast and images associated. There is also an editing page for these, but it’s not so interesting.

The games admin isn’t that fascinating, but it allows us to enter crucial information about how the game will work on the site.
